Risk sources, agility strategy and company performance among manufacturing small and medium enterprises in Malaysia

Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), with its significant contribution to a country’s economy is gaining corresponding interest from the research community. However, SMEs face numerous risks that could affect their performance resulting in inability rise full potential. Thus, this paper seeks study effect of risk sources (innovation technology adoption risk, infrastructure legal regulation environment risk) towards company while introducing agility strategy improving performance. Data was collected through survey Malaysian SME manufacturing companies yielding response 152 companies. were analysed using PLS-SEM. Findings indicate innovation have on Meanwhile, introduction does role improvement company’s handling these sources. It would seem plays an effective mitigating therefore SME’s performance, contributing knowledge strategies field management supply chain for SMEs.
